Pathway to Diagnostic Technician

Course Description

To become an Accredited Diagnostic Technician we offer a pathway of 11 one day courses, followed by a two day accreditation. The courses are designed to lead in to each other, but can be taken individually as singular, stand-alone courses to enhance your skill set if preferred or required. You can also choose to sit the courses and not continue to the final accreditation if you wish.

The pathway is designed for qualified or experienced technicians who are looking to improve their skills and understanding in what is an increasingly complicated industry. The courses individually or as a package aim to give attendees the skills and confidence to work on modern vehicles which in turn will improve the productivity of the garage they work in. Previous attendees often say this is the next logical progression from a level 3 college certificate, giving them the confidence to take on more complicated or in depth jobs.

• Any level 3 qualified technician looking to move to the next level by increasing their knowledge.
• Experienced technicians who already have a depth of knowledge in all areas who would like increase their knowledge.

Course Duration:
1 day per course - 11 courses available (Plus optional 2 day accreditation after completion of all 11 one day courses).

Assessment
Each individual course is internally certified and includes a short test to show knowledge gained. This is not a pass or fail test; just a knowledge demonstration.
