This course offers an in-depth understanding of advanced braking systems. Covering ABS, Traction control, ESC and stability control & I-booster braking systems for EVs & Hybrids.
Subjects covered include:
- Relationship of sensors and Canbus
- Connected sensors & how rain sensors are related to ABS network on some vehicles.
- ABS sensors; how to diagnose and what happens when a test lamp is used on an ABS circuit
- Overview of HDC, ESP, Hill start assist, yaw rate sensors & TCS logic
- Advantages and disadvantages of active sensors and brake stroke simulation braking.
