CAN-bus has been adopted so widely within the automotive industry, it requires a level of understanding for any technician. This course simplifies the technology and clearly demonstrates why it’s so important to understand. This will then enable candidates to diagnose complex issues with ease.
Subjects covered include:
- CAN; LIN; MOST; Flexray
- Canbus speed
- How to interpret Canbus data
- Looking at Bus configurations from Loop & Star alongside being taught different methods of diagnosing CAN-bus faults using a Picoscope & mathematical equations.
- How to trace a component on a network by downloading data to a CSV files.
